Chiefs’ Rashee Rice Apologizes For Involvement In An Accident, Admits Responsibility
Rashee Rice, chiefs wide receiver, highlighted that he takes “full responsibility” for his part in the weekend occurrence involving speeding in the far-left lane after which the drivers lost control. After Lamborghini passed onto the shoulder of the road, it hit the center median which led to a “chain reaction collision” that involved four other cars as well.
Rice had a Lamborghini SUV leased that police found was speeding with a Corvette on North Central Expressway on Saturday.
The crash comprised six vehicles, police said, and the drivers of the Lamborghini and Corvette fled away and ignored the situation as to whether anyone needed medical help or not. Moreover, four others were treated for minor injuries due to the collision.
Two drivers were treated on the scene for minor injuries, while two passengers from another car were taken to a hospital locally, also for minor injuries.
“I met with the Dallas Police Department Investigators today about Saturday’s accident. My part in this remains my responsibility and that is why I will continue to cooperate with the authorities,” Rice posted on his Instagram Story. “I deeply apologize to all those affected by the accident on Saturday.”
