New Kia Stonic Unveiled with Bold Design, Tech & Hybrid Options
Kia has now officially launched the new Kia Stonic and has unveiled a fresh, bold iteration of its well-known small crossover. The new Stonic allows customers to use more power with a higher design identity, progressive technology, and adaptive powertrains, defining a new standard in the B-segment.
The Stonic is slightly more than 4,165mm in length, which is enough to balance the small size with an open interior space. With up to 352 liters of cargo capacity and an overall 1,070 mm width, it is practical without being harmful to comfort. Customers have a choice of either a 1.0-liter T-GDI petrol engine with mild-hybrid (MHEV) or with a six-speed manual or seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox to ensure efficiency and everyday dynamics.
The Kia Stonic has also had a makeover in appearance, courtesy of Kia, which goes by the name of Opposites United. The crossover is made to look more confident by a sharper grille, Star Map Signature Lighting, and redesigned bumpers. New upgraded tailgate and taillight signature at the back also underline its dynamic nature. New alloy wheels and colorful paint finishes, such as Adventurous Green and Yacht Blue, are also available to customers.
Within the interior, Kia has given the cabin an upper-segment feature. Two screens are combined into a panorama with two linked 12.3-inch displays, and the Multimode Touch Display is introduced instead of the standard HVAC control to make the experience easier to use. The model is also technologically oriented, which is reflected in premium touches like ambient lighting, wireless charging, and USB-C fast ports.
Safety is also brought to a new level, as the Stonic also includes one of the most extensive ADAS packages in its category. Blind-spot Collision Avoidance Assist to Highway Driving Assist, the crossover provides a sense of security during every adventure.
