2026 Toyota Corolla Hatchback with Sporty FX Edition
Toyota brings the bar up again with the 2026 Corolla Hatchback, establishing a new standard in design, technology, and everyday performance. Toyota has unveiled the 2026 Corolla Hatchback, and this year’s model is marked by the introduction of the all-new FX Edition, which is based on the famous FX16 of the 1980s. The Corolla Hatchback still draws attention in the city and on the highway as well, with its smooth lines and daring stance, and energetic design.
The FX Edition is unique with 18-inch gloss white wheels, black Sport Touring seats, orange stitching, and a limited run of only 1,600 units. Though it has the same 169-horsepower 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and the CVT, paddle shifters and 10 pre-selected ratios provide a more sporty touch to the driving experience.
In 2026, Toyota will enhance the value of the Hatchback by upgrading the Hatchback range. Blind-spot and rear cross-traffic alert is also now standard, along with wireless phone charging, formerly only an upper-trim feature. SE starts at 24,180, FX Edition starts at 26,780, and XSE starts at 27,175 without a destination fee.
The 2026 Hatchback lineup has better power, features, and value than its nearest competitor, the Honda Civic Hatchback Sport, making the Corolla a market leader in the compact hatch market.
