Subaru Expands Its Forester Lineup with the 2025 Hybrid and 2026 Wilderness Models
Subaru recently presented two new Forester models, which provide options for various driver requirements. The automaker launched the 2025 Forester Hybrid as the company’s inaugural hybrid Forester within the United States market.
The hybrid powertrain of this new model links a next-generation series-parallel system and gives access to electric motors and a newly developed 2.5‑liter BOXER engine, which produces 194 horsepower in total.
The Forester Hybrid offers up to 40% enhanced fuel efficiency than standard models and features Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive technology in addition to EyeSight Driver Assist Technology as its standard equipment. The cabin interior features an 11.6-inch touchscreen, which integrates wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto while presenting the information from a 12.3-inch digital cluster.
Subaru plans to launch this model in spring 2025 at an initial price of $34,995, and it will be available in Premium, Sport for $37,995, Limited for $39,410, and Touring for $41,695, which cater to different lifestyle needs.

The forthcoming Forester Wilderness model from Subaru will hit the market during fall 2025, featuring 9.3 inches of height elevation along with new suspension systems, all-terrain tires, and enhanced X‑MODE technology.
